I have a 2005 Prius. It is time for me to replace tires. My first choice was the Michelin Energy Saver tires but they seem to be sold out everywhere. I am looking for a great LRR tire that would give me great MPG and a smooth, quiet ride, and last a good amount of time. I am looking at shopping at Costco, Americas Tire, and other local shops to me. Can someone please give me a few tires where I couldn't go wrong with. Any ideas would be very helpful as I would like to make a decision asap.
Seriously? lol Please use the search function. There is at least one tire thread in the top 10 recent posts in just about every main forum topic. Try the economy forums first.
185/65R15 CONTINENTAL PROCONTACT ECOPLUS is a good option. Tirerack rated it in the top two or three in the latest tests.I bought mine at www.tireteam.com where I got a good price. There seams to be a nationwide shortage of LLR tires so they can be hard to find.
I second the recommendation of Continental ProContact EcoPlus tires. I bought mine from tirerack.com about a year ago and have been very satisfied.
