Took possession of my brand new 2011 Prius two weeks and 1 day ago. It had 3 miles on it. I'm a buy a new car every 2-3 years kinda guy so I've had a lot of different cars and even a Cadillac thrown in there. Even with all the bells and whistles of the Caddy, I was still more excited about driving the Prius off the lot. I really want to keep this one more than 3 years. My wife knows a guy at work that uses Prius his to deliver bread to various Walmarts in the region. He has 300,000+ miles with nothing more than LOF, tires, wiper blades etc. Nothing major at all. I'll be happy with 100,000 miles. Never had a car with that many miles before. OK...I'll shut up now. Looking forward to reading.
:welcome: I've been enjoying my 2010 just a few weeks longer than you and just did a 1k mile road trip! Welcome aboard.
I hear these type of numbers ALL THE TIME! Mine only had 11 miles on it. This really just confirms that these cars are still really hot and dealerships can not keep them in stock. However, it also confirms that dealers are less likely to offer a discount because if you won't pay full price the guy standing behind you will...
