I have a price from a dealer for an "out the door" price of $XXXXXX ~ includes TTL for Virginia. This is for a 2011 Prius 3 with the solar roof package. Model #1225. Internet sticker price of $29,210 agrees with my research on the Toyota site. The sale price is $XXXXX plus TTL. While I have seen the posts by the California dealer and her deals but I have not yet seen any real "deals" by an east coast seller. Is this a good price? average deal? Be gentle, I'm new to Prius and this site...thanks!
If it's any help, I paid $26,500 in Florida (before tax) for the same options plus mats before the tsunami.
Thanks Teach! Sounds like a comparable deal as this one includes the mats...looks like yours might be better by a few 100 $$'s.... Anybody else??
Thanks Spidey! Working on it now....will report in when done as this dealer has over a dozen Prius (Prii?) in stock and advertises such pricing on the web! I had a friend of the family who bought his wife's Avalon there and saved over $1500 over anything else he could negotiate here....that's how I discovered the dealership. :tea: Here's hoping that it all works out and we may have discovered a friendly Prius dealer on the east coast!
Not for me....I'm an old retired guy  BTW ~ thanks to the mods for putting this thread in the correct forum! UPDATE ~ the deal appears to be valid and I will pick up my 2011 Three with the solar package tomorrow if nothing more than a shoestring breaks! Off topic ~ I'm absolutely AMAZED at what can actually be done via the internet....and just as amazed at how costly a ONE WAY auto rental is!! I will check in once the car is in the driveway!!
Congrats! I picked up my 2011 Prius (With Nav, and Solar) 4 days ago, and LOVE IT! Getting 65MPG on the tank so far, and I'm improving. Enjoy, I know you will.
What an awesome car! After bonding with my new Prius over almost 300 miles on the interstate, mountains, rain and neighborhood roads, I am duly impressed!....and that was only day 1
