Guess who tops the list......................yet again! At least we don't have to worry about Volts or Priuses getting jacked.... Car Theft Statistics - INFOGRAPHIC - CarBuzz - Car News and Reviews
It's pretty impressive how the numbers have dropped over the past 7 years - from almost 1.3 million cars in 2003 to 737k last year
^ me too! I figure the number would be higher due to tough economic times... some things just don't figure.
Yes don't be surprised. There are some 'near lemon' of this brand. I have a co-worker got an A4. First few months seems ok. After that, always saw him driving another car back to work. Then the frequency got higher. At last I saw him driving an A6 with a Dealer license. I asked him what's the matter. He said his A4 needed to do a longer time 'service' and the manager lent him his Dealer licensed car for a few days. Then after one week, A4 back, and he sold it next month. It's power train design /mechanic is super but it's quality is unreliable some how. Sorry to tell this.
Audi = electrical hell. I think its funny that the Acura Integra isn't on the list anymore. It's near impossible to keep a Type-R in your driveway.
I'm actually shocked to see that 50% of the top ten... That's right, five out of the top ten are OnStar equipped vehicles from GM!!! So much for that system being a theft deterrent.
