you really do learn a lot. driving mine for three days i'm learning something new everyday..one thing i've learned is how obsessed i am with trying to get the meter as close to 75 Mpg's that i can..GEES! haha

Most of the owners will tell you that the mpg on the dash is a few points off the actual. And the higher it goes, the more error there seems to be - not to take away from 75 on the meter. That is awesome.

I drove to and from SC this summer and found that at an indicated 49 or so, I was actually getting 48 to 47. Not far off.

Welcome aboard. And BlizzardGal can get a nice after market nav. Search for some of those posts. Some car manufacturers are reducing the number of models they build with nav since a lot of people want after market.

Poor Toyota, even new buyers think they got a III, when all they really got was a 3, they need to rethink their model designations. Even the dealers have a hard time figuring it out. (Do you want a v a V or 5?)

Just think, if they had eight trim levels of the v, you could get a Prius v8! :D

I've noticed the gauge is off a bit by 3-5 mpg..either way much better than the 20-22 i averaged before.

driving a winter grey prius...aye aye aye
