Glad you got to see the launch!
We were stationed at Patrick AFB a few years ago and saw lots of rockets launch and a few Shuttles. Here's one of my kids watching Endeavour from our front yard in 2007:

Will miss that "welcome home" sound of the double sonic boom.
I wonder if any future spacecraft will have it.

Nice photo framing with the children in the foreground.
OK here is shuttle close up (Enterprise I think) at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center near Washington Dulles International Airport, part of the Smithsonian Air and Space museum.

I wanna do it! Specially with the cruise control and Lane Keep Assistant I think there is hardly anything required from me!

My wife followed me from FL to KY in her Prius. I was driving the truck and pulling a trailer between 60 and 65 mph. She got a calculated fuel mileage of 61.4 mpg (not computer mileage). No hypermiling either. That included climbing up and over Mount Eagle in TN. It's not just the savings in dollars that encourages us get good fuel mileage, it's the fact that we are doing our best to keep the oil companies from gleaning massive and excessive profits from the sale of gasoline. Apparently we are not amounting to much...but it makes us feel good.
