On a light note are you sure it's brain power you're getting? It might be EMF from your car.:peep:

Seriously, Having a lost a parent to cancer and having a wife with low malignancy cancer I am so happy you are doing well. May G-d, or what ever your belief, grant you nothing but health, wealth and happiness. Oh and maybe a ride with Emma Watson in her Prius.

The EMF is probably what's killing the cancer. Now about Emma Watson.. lol

I don't think I fully understand the Emma Watson thing. Does F8L get to make one of his wishes come true from some cancer benefit or something??

its always hard to understand the unexpected twists and turns that life has to offer. my cousin in MI won a half million in the MI State lottery last summer. bought two new cars, paid off the house, got a summer home at the lake.

then a few weeks ago, she was diagnosed with breast and hip cancer. they give her 3 months to live. Cancer is such an unrelenting adversary that frequently has won the battle before we even know we are in a fight for life.

Justin, you are an inspiration because you have fought a foe with overwhelming odds against you and have survived and is continuing to fight, but most important of all, you have kept your spirit.

Man, i am in awe of you!

Not myself, but a Daughter. After two operations they gave up on getting rid of it.....now she's on medication for it......which seems to have helped very much.

Here was not Cancer but Crones disease

I'm so sorry to hear that, Dave. How is she doing right now? Getting through the first few months after diagnosis is the hardest.

In some cases that is what we end up with. A bunch of meds to keep the sickness at bay. Crohn's is very annoying to live with. I feel like I have it due to the crazy effects of chemo. I pretty much live in the restroom.

I met with my oncologist yesterday to discuss my recent CT scan. He went through the radiologists notes and showed me the recent scans as well as those I had done last fall. As I stated earlier, the largest nodule in my lung has been reduced to a hazy non-uniform mass of tissue. It is so tiny and non-uniform that they consider it gone. To contrast this, in the fall it was a round nodule approx. 8mm in size with very distinct margins. So the chemo or something has basically destroyed that one. The smaller nodule we observed last fall has not noticeably changed so they are not sure it is even a malignant tumor or if it is just some other anomaly of the body. There were no new nodules in the liver. So for now I'm about as clear of cancer as you can get which is awesome news considering I shouldn't even be here BUT since the chemo cannot kill the cancer completely I am stuck on chemo until it comes back or until we go through enough CT scans and years with no cancer to feel safe enough to stop treatments. Maybe I'll get lucky and they will find some break-through chemical that does kill the cancer like they can with breast cancer.

So all in all I am happy to be here chatting with my Prius friends and stage4 cancer can kiss my a$$!

Ohh and did I mention I got a 35% annual raise this year? God I love life! Muahahahahaha

WOW DUDE!! that is great news!

as for Dawn, the news is just as wonderful. she did not survive the stroke and died on Monday. funeral is tomorrow. it is good in that instead of a lot of pain and suffering for the few months she had left, she is now pain free.

as always, will be doing the Walk of Life in a few weeks. Will walk for my Mother, Dawn and will still put in a few miles for you too!

:( I mean that is better than the alternative. The pain associated with the disease and the treatment is more than a lot of people would like to deal with. I am happy that she will not have to suffer through that.

Don't just walk my miles, Dave. Dance a little jig for me. Like Mr. Bojangles! Life is too short not to skip and dance every now and then.

Good point! Unfortunately it wasn't a loving tender kiss. Actually it was kinda tender. Gross! lol

Your Prius must be ecstatic. Wearing those old 17' shoes was, well, a drag. :p

Your last report made me smile. Great news for a damned deserving guy!
