That is the msg I get from my 2007 civic hybrid. I checked the gas cap and it is as tight as can be. The car was working fine this morning (I use that word loosely, its a POS), and then after I get off of work, the message shows up.

I'm at a quarter tank right now, so I'll fill up tomorrow. But could this be a bad sensory? Has anyone else seen this issue before?

    ps...I hate this car :(

lol it's not that bad of a car. :) Just be glad it isn't an Aveo or something.

Usually that message is because the cap isn't locked. Or there is a large pressure difference. If it doesn't go away when you fillup, then you may have a sensor problem. Was there a large temperature differential between when you last filled up and the temp today?

Haha, the only thing I really like about the car is the navigation and the mileage is not bad. Sorry, but when the time comes, I am jumping ship to the ct300h.

Yeah, I don't know what the deal is with the message. I got in this morning and everything was fine. Filled it up later in the afternoon and still no message. Must have been what you mentioned, just a weird temperature or pressure differential. I'll keep an eye out for it and see if it shows up again.

I had this a couple of weeks ago. A few days later, the message was gone, but I had the orange/yellow check engine icon show up. Took it into the the dealership -- nothing wrong, they cleared the light. Cost me $150!

Holy Cow......$150.00 to clear a idiot light. Around here our auto parts stores (AutoZone,Advance,NAPA) will check the code & clear the light for FREE.

Most dealerships charge at least 1hr of work just for "inspection". At my honda dealer that is $93. At Toyota it is $85. At Lexus it is $120
