If the 3 screw mounting points are the same I don't see why not. I wonder if anyone tried before...

If they fit I may save up for a set and do the LEDs like yours. Plus I could take my time since I wouldn't have the car apart while I worked on the project.

When I had my left headlight assembly replaced, I should've asked the dealership if I could keep the "bad" one. Something tells me they wouldn'tve let me though.

I can hook up the LED to turn signal (parallel with stock bulb) or as DRL (parallel with parking light). What do you guys think?

Are you asking what it should be hooked up to? Or what it should operate as...?

The best setup in my mind would be to function as a DRL w/o having to turn any knobs (automatic) and w/o turning on the taillights, license plate lights, etc. IOW, the LED strip should be the only light that comes on when you start your car. I don't even know if that's possible but it would be my ideal setup.

I am asking for which would be best to hook up to. Both will function differently. I am going to try both for sure :D

To make it a true DRL without having to turn the knot, I wouldn't know where to tap. I'll have to dig thru the electrical diagrams in the repair manual. I bet Patrick Wong can look it up 100x faster than me. LOL.

I would give you the extra driver side but it is not in a great condition. There is a scretch and a broken tab from a minor accident. Plus, you are 4,000 miles away to pick it up.

Could you tap into the running lights above the blinker? Then you should'nt have to activate anything to run them.

Didn't know there is one. Maybe 2004-2005 had that running light?

    Awesome!

Dennis is making me so jealous I'm considering selling my setup as complete and buying 2006+ headlights, the FX-R projectors and using my 55w DDM ballast. I'd definitely be installing the LEDs like he did. :)

I tried the LED strip hooked up as a turn signal. I had the bulb disconnected so it was blinking faster than normal.

Although I wouldn't use them as turn signals, they look great on the car. Thanks for taking this project further and inspiring me to change my set up. Where did you get your OEM lights from?
