That's because of its size and power. You got a screw loose if you think Prius is so much a sharper looking car than Insight. I'd buy an Insight over a Prius in a microsecond if it had 135 HP and full power split hybrid, but doesn't. Accord > Camry, Civic > Corolla

Except the fact Insight II is the #2 selling hybrid these days and we'll see how the Civic hybrid goes.

    Right, they can't do hybrids.

Can Toyota do MotoGP? Is Toyota the world's largest motorcycle manufacturer?

Limiting yourself to $200/rim is a little tough. You really get what you pay for.

I wish I could offer you a suggestion because I'd probably be interested in the same rim (I'm after a gunmetal rim too) - but I'm out of ideas. Nothing impresses me anymore. Sad, right?

The rims in the photo would look wrong on the Prius.

I've been rim shopping for months and months now, and I don't care for either of the wheels you've picked out. I've seen so many once that are much more interesting... But, then again, half the members don't like what I do to my car either! lol

Neither of those are good looking to me, but if it's down to them I would pick the t-fork.

Here's a couple of quick shots showing before and after. Even though it is only a 1" drop it makes a big visual improvement in the appearance of the car.

    oh wow...it looks great!

unfortunately, i wont be getting wheels for a while...was just rear-ended and it kind of made me mad in a weird way...idk

i want my car to look that nice, but i am pissed about the whole thing haha...I got some dents in my bumper that would really take away from the fly look that some new wheels would give.

but seriously. your car looks AWESOME. well done.

I like the FD-05 for a Prius since its a 5-spoke design like the stock rims. I think that's a nice style touch to keep, since the 2nd gens had a 6-spoke design.

Thanks for the compliment and sorry to hear about your accident. That happened with my last car: idiot backed into my car in the parking lot and crushed the rear lights and trunk lid, car was pretty new too.

Now that I have seen the Prius dropped vs regular height I would definitely recommend it - even with the 15" OEM wheels. The car should come that way from the factory.

Have you looked at the Drag Wheel series yet? They have some nice looking wheels for relatively little money ($135 for 18's).
