    Hello,

    I have a 2010 Gen III Prius with Nav(GPS).

I use the builit in GPS all the time. Yesterday I set my destination though and realized that that the voice had stopped (or never started) giving me directions for the trip. Not even any bells indicating a turn was coming. I verified the NAV Voice volume settings were fine, bluetooth for phone was working, and radio played. I deleted the destination and chose another destination. Nothing I tried could get the voice to start again. When I arrived at my destination I shut the car off and started the engine again. I set a destination and the voice worked fine.

Any ideas as to what this could be? I'm at 35,500 miles and will be running to the dealer with this.

    Thanks,
    The Edge

You probably muted the NAV by mistake. It reset when you restarted the car.

How do you mute the NAV?

When you entered your destination, did you hit the "OK" button? Usually after that, the voice chimes in and tells you to proceed to the highlighted route.
