    Re: Registration isn't working...

However, there's no Continue button (or equivalent)!! Also the Update button is grayed out. The other problem is I can't just sign up as a new member because it knows that I already own an account. I guess it recognizes my home address because I used my 2nd email. I don't have a 2nd home, however. :D

    Anyone know what to do?[/quote]

You probably need to fill in all info to activate the Submit button. Are all fields complete?

Ok I think I signed up. I think? When I got to the last page it said this:

The GO takes me to the main page. There seems to be no message like the picture from page 6(?) of this thread. I also did not get a confirmation email and its been 30 minutes since. Does this mean I'm not "in?" BTW my name is not xxxx.

I'm in. Well alright I signed my wife up because she has a log in.

Should have seen the look on her face when I told her she signed up for a Plug-in Prius.

    :D

I registered earlier today, mostly as a silly thing to do (since I'm in IL I figured I wouldn't be able to take delivery of one), but now it looks like you just have to go to one of the lead in states to take delivery, which I might just do, and they'll probably be supported most places, nice.

This makes sense from Toyota's standpoint, since as the Volt rollout has shown that the cars are going to go everywhere anyways.

Since the whole country can now be in on this, the actual first in first out order process is going to be a test of Toyota's internet server capacity...that is going to be a wild day...

I signed up yesterday with Chrome browser. The site indicated that I had Toyota Owner account. I reset my password and got in, updated profile and that was it.

Everyone, I am new here and this is my very first post!

I started to follow the PriusChat forum for almost one year. I have learned a lot from this forum and the Podcast with PriusOwnersgroup.com. Although I live in Florida, I signed up for a Prius Plug in and I hope to pick it up somewhere in Virginia, pay a transport truck for delivery.

My lease is terminating around September and I thought last year that maybe Toyota may pleasantly surprise everyone by having the car available at the end of this year. Well, I will have to find something to drive in the meantime.

I know that information on the vehicle will be available at the end of the year, but I was wondering if anybody by any chance knows if the gas mileage in the Information Display will have the extra digit in order to read 100.5 mpg for example as opposed to being stuck with 99.99 mpg.

Welcome to Priuschat! Unfortunately, no, we do not know yet what will be different on the production version versus the demo vehicle.

If anyone at Toyota is listening, please make sure the better steering assembly from the Five is on the plug in or available, along with PCS and LEDs. Full auto headlights and daytime lights would be great too. Thanks.

p.s. - if you throw in some CT 200h like front seats, I promise not to complain about the cost!

I'll tell you what I would like to see... The availability of the ATP and LED headlights with leather but without the 17's. I love the look of them over the 15's but on a car which is a plug in and I want ev range, the 17's have to go. The difference between driving my V and my dads III is very noticeable.

Also, if I may, I would appreciate if Toyota include at least in some trim levels, maybe a limited edition with: HUD, Mirrors turn signals. Watching a video demonstration of the Prius from Europe or South America with these features really hurt. I do not understand why these cool features on possibly the coolest, high-tech car around are not available for us in the US.

I also hope that the new Entune system will be available.

Anyone know how long registration has stayed open in the past?

Yeah, I was under the impression pre-registration was going to be open on that page only earth day itself and then end. But I guess it'll remain open until all available pre-registration slots are filled up. It does say "while quantities last" on the plug-in page. Question is, how many slots are there available?

I'm sure there are plenty, there can't be that much interest in the "Volt-lite" :)

    (jk, I couldn't help myself)

Seriously. The idea that the Prius can plug into any standard outlet is frickin amazing. No need for a charging station. This means I can literally charge it anywhere. Volt is going to be left in the dust.

Volt can also be plugged into any outlet. I'm reasonably certain any EV can (it just takes longer).
