I am guessing Kathmandu Kitchen is a Nepalese food joint and not Indian? (Sorry, being from Sri Lanka, I am a little sensitive about people thinking everyone who looks Indian is Indian, can speak Hindi and is Hindu)

I have never had Nepalese food anyway, but about to visit some Nepalese family friends next week!

Since your parents are apparently reneging on their offer to buy you a new car and are trying to weasel out of it by handing over the keys to a year-old girly car, teach them a lesson and decline the offer. Then, buy whatever car you like - pending the approval of your buddies - using money that you've earned on your own.

Curious if your parents are aware that you are considering selling or are reading about it on PC...

The only topic that the OP has ever raised on this forum has been the alleged girliness of his (her?) alleged car, driven to an alleged school...etc...

I guess some kid is playing on the internet again, or some Insight owner is having some fun at our expense.... (We'll see who has the last laugh....)

Oh well....maybe some real college student will stumble onto this thread and gain some insight to the drudgery of being forced to drive a family car to school.....

The Prius is a babe magnet!!! Free spirited, artsy type women love the Prius. The only problem is most of these women are free spirited about thier personal hygiene. They shave their legs and arm pits once a year and bathes when enough people complain.

You probably are doing the right thing by not driving the Prius. It is meant for a different demographic then you. I would never have driven a Prius when I was 18-22. I am 44 years old now and love every aspect of this car. Mine is loaded with all kinds of geeky electronics.

 

Dudeee! I get turned on when my bf is driving my car. He has a truck but he pays $80+ for a full tank of gas, while I have to pay $30+ and I get more miles.

Still wondering if you're a troll or not. But whatevs. Moving on ... I've seen more guys driving the Prius. How is a Prius a "chicks" car? oh right. You're in a frat. Clearly, you don't want your Prius because it's not man enough for you? Sell it to someone who values saving money. And get your WRX.

Hey, I sent my son to college with a Prius and he thought it was a 'chick magnet'. A few years forward, he just married his girlfriend of two years. She is in grad school, working on her degree in Psychology. She is wonderful and loves their 2004 Prius.

Find a new group of friends!~
