Hey folks. I tried a few different search queries and came up empty. I'm a Gen III owner and Electrical Engineering student and was looking for a fairly detailed drawing/schematic of the Gen III drivetrain and controller layout and (ideally) some supporting documentation about how it all works together. I'm looking for something more technical/nerdy than what you might find at something like howstuffworks.com. If anyone can point me to anything like this I would be most grateful. Glad to be a new member of the PRIUSchat community! ~Frank
You may want to try the Toyota Techinfo site. For $15 for two days, you have access to all of the Prius technical information, service repair info, including electrical wiring diagrams.
Good deal. Will definitely check that out. Do you happen to know if it may also be downloaded for offline viewing? Thanks!
If anyone has any additional suggestions please share. A slightly higher level of abstraction like block diagram type stuff would be useful too.
The very good HSD simulator (as the other technology links) is at Prius classic simulation (needs JAVA runtime installed).
