I didn't post any before pics because I'm sure everyone knows what a stock prius looks like, lol. And excuse the picture quality because it was taken from my iphone and they aren't the greatest megapixels lol

I like the lowering, rims, and tinted tails. Not a big fan of the black headlight piece. I think you picked the wrong body color for these mods - your mime theme would go much better with silver or black. But overall nice job though and it looks way better than stock. Welcome to the rare but eclectic breed of Prius modders. :)

I'm just surprised you got 19's on there... wow. I wonder if my GenII would take a pair of 19's without rubbing...

I like everything except the black headlight piece which looks distracting in its current form. You should open them up and take out the reflectors or at least cover the strip above the black piece so it doesn't look so distracting.

Might look better at night - the headlight piece. Kindly furnish a pic. And damn those tints are dark. Looks like Limo 5%s in the front. Legal?

The rims are beautiful. The tint in the lights definitely aren't worth the safety decrease in my opinion (probably also in the opinion of lawyers and law enforcement).

    Looks great!

My only real criticism is the wrapping of the tire on the wheel. I've always hated the way mini-truck/lowrider guys would put a tire that is too narrow for the width of the wheel and instead of having a vertical sidewall, the sidewall bends over the wheel at an angle. I understand this may have something to do with trying to squeeze a 19" wheel in there but I would have went with an 18" wheel if I couldn't get the correct size tire in there. :)

@ macmaster & 32kcolors, thanks for the comments, I was gonna get a blue background on the rims, but the blue was a royal blue and didn't match the darker blue color. And as far as the black paint covering the amber, I guess I can still have it taken off somehow, but I will ride with it for a bit lol
@ 2k1toaster, yeah I have some friends rollin' on dubs on their '10 Prius'
@ airgas1998, I don't have any type of vinyl wrap anymore, I had those taken off and my tail lights are actually painted over as if they painted a new coat on a car
@ F8L, yeah I noticed the it was narrow, I will most likely get 225's instead of what I have now (215's), but I may have to roll my fenders?

Thanks to all so far for ur comments, makes me aware of my dayum mistakes ugh

It's all good. In the interest of economy I would wait until these ones wear out first unless you can get most of your money back by selling them while they are brand new. :)

Don't look at it as mistakes. Look at it as an opportunity to improve. The car looks great already. Just make it better. :D

Rims looks great. What is the width and weight on those? Please report back on the initial MPG difference with the new wheels. I thought you were going to go red on the tails?

I think the long-term MPG difference would be more important. All new tires have a break-in period before MPG settles to an average number. His initial reporting will be helpful but may be a bit misleading for those interested in doing the upgrade but are worried about the MPG drop. For example, his MPG may drop by 4-8mpg initially but may settle out at 2-6mpg after a few thousand miles worth of driving. :)

The stock Bridgestone EP20 (195/65/15) that came on the car had the following specs:
    Overall Diameter: 25"
    Revolutions per mile: 833

    The Falken FK 452 (215/35/19)
    Overall Diameter: 25"
    Revolutions per mile: 831

This is a pretty damn close matchup so the MPG difference should be mostly due to tire tire width and frictional reasons and not as much from errors with tire revolution between the two sizes. This is an important consideration when estimating the MPG drop or gain from tire swaps. :)

They have a couple of 18" LRR tires. I have not found any 19s but I really have not looked. :)

With zero red showing from the back of the car it is only a matter of time. :)

*All vehicles must have red tailights visible from the rear of the car. They must be red even when not lit up.

Here is a quick list of the code numbers if anyone wants to look em up. :)

    * TAIL LIGHTS OTHER THAN RED: (24600 VC)
    * ILLEGAL BRAKE LIGHTS: Brake lights on vehicles newer than 1979 must be red (24603 VC). (Vehicles older than 1979 may be red or yellow.)
    * LACK OF REAR REFLECTORS: Two red reflectors are required on the rear of cars and trucks (24607 VC).
    * INCORRECT COLOR OF TURN SIGNAL: It must be white or yellow to the front, red or yellow to the rear (24953 VC).
*RED LIGHTS TO THE FRONT: They are illegal except on emergency vehicles (24003 VC). This is one way to get pulled over very quick!
*Tail lights that incorporate a bulb with a red tint or coating. In general, custom tail lights that incorporate a clear outer shell and red inner lens are legal (24011 VC). If they don't incorporate reflectors, they must be added to the vehicle (24607 VC).
*TAIL LIGHTS THAT ARE TOO DIM, washed out or show yellow, white or other colors (24600 VC).

*ILLEGAL COLOR OF SIDE MARKER LIGHTS: If present, must be yellow in the front and red in the rear (25106, 24003 VC).
