Just wondering how you found the part number and are there any more "plug-in" type of stuff like the floormats or the J1772 door badge?

There is a real lack of the concrete info here that would be needed to buy something with confidence that it would fit. Is this the "Toyota Plugin Hybrid Badge" being discussed? :noidea: Does it have pins on the back? :noidea: If so it's for the front quarter panels/"fenders". Do the pin patterns match either/both GenII/Gen III Prius? :noidea: At least on the Gen II, the pin patterns are different on the two sides of the car. If no pins it's for the hatch. Are the hatch and front fender badges the same size? :noidea: On the Gen II they aren't.
This one had plastic pins on the back and very sticky glue, attached to some green plastic tape. Price I paid was for 1. Can't answer any other questions about it, because I don't have a Prius to match it against. I put it on my Nissan Altima Hybrid that is now PHEV and I removed the little blue part, so is only silver. How did I find it, I sent an email and picture to the Toyota dealer in Vallejo. They gave me the part number.
FYI, this won't work for the standard Gen III Prius because the quarter panels have two holes, and this badge will not cover the second hole on the left. It may work for the rear hatch, and in fact looks like it belongs there. Plus, don't be lame and put this on your car if it's not really a plug-in (I understand the OP has done a conversion so this is not directed at him.) Edit: It may be possible that the "G" covers the hole since it is solid (if you look carefully). I will try to confirm in the next few days. Edit #2: I've re-examined the mounting holes for the quarter panels and it looks like this badge will work. I am guessing the solid G is the trick they used to cover the hole.

Well the ones that have been around have this plug thing on them. John's Stuff - Toyota Prius Photo Album 156 Are they using that on the door or are they using the badge listed in this topic? Also it looks like there is that "plug-in" wrap thats on the bottom available but its expensive. I just dont see a part number for the one on the J1772 door unless I just dont know what its called.
I looked thru the listing for the rear springs of the plug-in and it uses the same springs as the regular prius.. Is that possible with the addition of the 6kwh of battery...
Possible, keep in mind the PHV uses Lithium cells which are quite a bit less mass than an equivalent Ni-Mh pack like the normal Prius uses. That, and there is no spare! In my PHEV, I removed the original pack and replaced it with a 6.5kWh Lithium pack, and without the spare, I'm only up 30lbs!
The correct part number for the J1772 door emblem is 75385-47010. Since I dont have a J1772 door I put mine on the gas door. Sorry for the crappy picture. Is my car an official plig-in Prius now? Since the 2006 Prius does not have guide holes for the badges I had to cut them off of the plug-in badges. Also the J1772 badge is thin so it can be stuck on just about any curved surface.
