I just got a set of the Weathertech digital fit liners for the front of my 2008 Prius. The passenger side fits well, but the driver's side slides around enough to be pretty annoying and distracting to the point it might be unsafe. It's clipped on but it still slides. Weathertech was of no help, they just said I could return them. Anyone else have this problem? Do the Husky liners slide too?

I have Husky Liner WeatherBeater floor liners and they do not slip and slide and they fit extremely well. All though the drivers side mat does appear to move forward about an inch or so during use. It is nothing I notice while driving and does not effect operation or functionality in anyway. I believe other members have commented on this also in one of the other numerous floor mat threads. I will post a pic when I go out to my car.

hmm, I searched for comments on this and couldn't find any. BIG forum. I guess I'd say it slides about an inch or so too. Maybe I am being too fussy, but for the price I would think they would stay put. If the passenger side is fine, why should the driver's side slip? Anyone put velro on the back?

I am referring to the Huskies not the WeatherTechs. I figured that since the WeatherTechs use the retaining hooks that they would not move about. I know that other members have pointed out that they have a low lip near the fuel door lever and will leak through the retaining clip holes, both causing your carpet to get wet. My Huskies may move forward because I have no need to use my left foot not having a clutch pedal and end up tapping or kicking the dead pedal or surrounding area causing it to move forward.

I think the clips just prevent it from sliding too far forward and messing with the gas pedal. But they do move, just not that far forward...enough to be annoying.

Here is what I was talking about with my Huskies. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1299970000.080520.jpg This is how it it starts all the way back. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1299970628.000793.jpg Then it will migrate forward slightly by it's own accord. But the thing is I can not just pull it back without lifting it so it's kinda funny how it just creeps forward a little bit. Like I said earlier it's probably from me kicking it or driving with my work boots on.

No problem. Yes they do and allot of them that's why I can't figure why they shift that little. I can't pull it back without lifting it to disengage all the nibs. They don't have hook holes and they have high sides all the way around, that's why I got them. There is a thread by papagallo with more pics and some of the underside.

That's weird. Mine don't slip at all. What part is sliding?

Hmm, killer floor mats eh? They are creeping forward to grab your gas pedal. BEWARE!! ;)

I have Weathertech soft rubber ones meant for an SUV. I use the passenger side one on the drivers side and the drivers side one on the passenger side. The cutout for the gas pedal fits snugly around the dead pedal ensuring the drivers side one doesn't move. It goes all the way beneath the gas pedal and yes, the pedal hits it if floored. It isn't a problem, as there is nothing the gas pedal can catch on.

well I returned the Weathertech liners and got the Huskies in today. I like them MUCH better. No sliding and a snug fit...those nubs on the bottom are wicked! And I like the fact that the gas cap release lever is covered, it's easy to reach under there to access it and no junk will clog up that area like it did on my Rav 4. The folks at Juicedhybrid.com were great on the return...really quick and no hassle...highly recommended!
