rattle from driver side dash

Rattletrap is overkill.......our 2010 III had one very slight noise coming from the passenger side dash......it was taken care of during my 1000K mile checkup.......since then there is no rattles. Very quite !!!!!!!!

 

When the ICE is running there is a high pitched rattle almost like a
loose exhaust manifold heat shield noise. It can only be heard
outside the Prius. It does not bother me inside . Do I have a maintenance issue? This is a new 2011 with 700 miles.

 

I have the same problem with the center of the dash, If I press on the middle of the dash just above the start button, and right above the air vents the rattle goes away, also the right hand side vent, make a rattle sound aslo, I was wondering if the hinge from the glove box was causing this.

 

Wow, you've already racked up one million miles?!? You must have one heckuva commute.
