I added these photo's in my album as well but thought I'd share right away as well. Tell me what you think. The white car and dark rims is hard to shoot especially trying to get the blue accents on the wheels because the car is so bright, it blows out the wheels and makes it just look like dark holes unless you have full sunlight hitting the wheels as well. Kind of bummed as I took a ton of nice shot down by the ocean today but very few turned out with seeing the wheels too. Didn't help the sun wasn't where I needed it. Will have to go back on another nice day when the car is clean and it's early to catch the sun on the right side.

I like it allot also. Is your windshield tinted or the sides so dark it just appears that way?

Wheel specs are 19x8 with a +50mm offset. I currently have 5mm spacers in the back right now but will be changed out for 15mm when my hand is healed. The 5mm spacers will be put up front. Running a 225/35/19 Continental DWS all season performance tire. Thanks for all the kind words. To answer the question about the windshield. It's just a tinted sun strip. Just an illusion. Windows really aren't that dark.

What r u gonna be running? Are gonna be beyond +35mm. That seems to be the limit without really needing to do much to fit them in the rear. As it is once my spacers are in at +35 I may have to roll the fenders a bit.

WOW!!! 19" wheels!!! Your car looks great. I just bought a 2010 Prius III & I have been looking at wheel options. How much of a mpg hit have you seen with your larger, heavier wheels & wider tires? Did you weigh the wheel/tire combo to compare the total weight to stock?

Haven't weighed the rim/tire combo but I know these wheels are 4lbs. lighter than the factory 17's. I took about a 5-6mpg hit. Still very happy and don't care about the hit. The wheels look and ride great!!

So what did you do with your stock 17" wheels? Do you know what just the wheel weighs? I've been looking for a nice lite-weight wheel.

I sold the factory 17's for temporary Enkei EKM3 17x7's which I'm trying to sell right now as a matter of fact although can only sell local. The stock 17's weigh in at just over 24lbs. The Enkei 17x7's and my Wedssport 19x8's weigh in at just over 20lbs. They are amazing wheels. Look so incredibly good in person.

Hot ride Shawn! I'd love to see something like that in person.

As for the photos, depending on the photo editing program you use, you can recover highlight detail and retrieve shadow detail as well. Your scene has very high dynamic range, and it is possible that it exceeded what your camera's sensor is capable of catching. If you can shoot in RAW format in your camera, you'll have better post processing capabilities. The first pic is underexposed. But overall you've got an eye!!!

Maybe don't shoot during midday. Morning or later evening is better for lighting. Or bring reflectors (big white cardboard) and direct light onto the rims.

We can talk more photo technique here on this thread if you like or we can PM.
