What do you guys think of the DIY front lip? The best thing about it is that it's only 13 dollars total with 30 minutes of installation!

I just followed the directions from the fit forum.(DIY front lip - Unofficial Honda FIT Forums)

It's not much of a front lip. I guess you get what you pay for.

But I like your other mods!

    Does it help with aerodynamics?

yes. its very subtle and oem-ish looking. it should match my tein h-tech springs. thanks!

    thanks!

5% in rear 35% in the front. the specific brand i can not tell you. sorry.

    yes!

i doubt it will have that much effect on aerodynamics. it might even hurt it a very very slight bit, but prob not even noticeable.

Hehe nice cheap mod. My only thing about is that it really throws off the balance with the rest of the body since the front is already low.

This look can look good though with some side skirts and maybe rear too

I just installed the tein h tech springs and the drop lowers the rear more than the front. This "lip" helps balance the drop.

(the front lip also matches the rear diffuser very well too... maybe it would be best to label it as a front "diffuser".)

Thanks for the comments. I'll keep everything in mind as I continue to mod my prius.

BTW how are the TEIN H tech Springs? pretty big drop there...how is the ride HONESTLY please.

    thanks!

thanks! yeah it looks very professional and sleek in person.

the tein h techs are bit more harsh, but still have the stock feel. somedays i dont even notice that i am lowered, and others (say when i drive in downtown la) i can feel every bump. i love the drop! i MAY sound bias, but im glad i went with the teins, the tanabe seems to lower the rear wayyyyy too much. plus you cant beat the price of it!

Looks good, but you really need a lighter color car to see the lip and for it to give a nice subtle offset to the car. On a black Prius, the lip will still give the front a more fuller look, but it would be less noticable.

I may try it on my car to see how it looks, if anything since my car is all black in the front (emblems & all, and no plate).
