Are these lights fit (connectors) into the European version of the Prius?

Can't wait to install these...maybe later on tonight in the garage. It's raining/hailing/snowing right now lol. Crazy weather in Cali!

Install was pretty straightforward with just using Rodney's pictures. The hardest part for me were the retaining clips. There are four total and they are a PITA! I spent more time trying to get those off than the rest of the install.

Hey guys, I got my set of lights from Spec D and found that one light is brighter than the other. The left light works normally, the right side illuminates as of the brakes are being pressed. This only happens on the right side.

I put up a video to show the stock lights work as normal, but when the new lights are hooked up, the right side doesn't work properly.

I've received two sets of lights from Spec D. Same problem with both.
Do any of you guys have the same problem?

 

Did anybody get a confirmation of the order once the money was sent. I'm 3 days in and even after an email still have not heard anything. I will try and call I guess and see where that gets me. I ordered them fairly early on the 28th.

 

No, no confirmation. I just got an email from DHL a few weeks later, and then a phone call from DHL the next day, making sure I would be home to sign for them....

 

I gotcha. I thought it was something they had in stock and were just shipping out to everyone. Didn't know we were talking weeks. Seemed like the first bunch were posting pics shortly there after the group buy started. Who knows. It would be nice to get a response back anyways since I've made the effort to try and reach them. Have emailed and left a phone message and still nothing. Kinda bummed.

 

Yeah, it wasn't REAL quick, but I didn't know if it was coming from overseas or something, so it'd take longer. Didn't even pay attention to where they came from. Mine are sitting in the garage until I get some stuff done to them... Then I gotta find some person here to install them for me (which is an act of GOD...). I'd try it myself, but I've played piano professionally for 20-some years now, and have developed killer arthritis in my hands. Anything detailed, or involving screws, clips, etc., is usually OUT of the question, as I drop EVERYTHING all day long. I don't even pick up glass any more cause I'd probably drop it. Anyhow, it'll prob be a long time before I get them installed. I finally heard from Carson today, tho, regarding pricing on my Kenstyle, ordering info, as well as a cool rear wing and top-of-the-hatch spoiler. Finally.... So, maybe after the 3+ months it'll take to make it and boat it over from Japan, I can have the tail lights installed at the same time...
