Clear Plastic BUG-Hood shield

    I would like a Claer plastic bug shield for the hood (above the front emblem). I don't want one made with grey, amber, brown plastic. Clear polycarbonate like the headlamps would be perfect. Anyone know if such an accessory exists ? So far all I see look hideous.

    I agree. I guess if I had a gray, amber or brown Prius those might make sense.

    I guess it wouldn't bother me as much if they were honest about it. But they try to be sneaky, as if it isn't a completely transparent attempt at self promotion.

    Try a Clear Bra - you would just want the hood section. This would maintain the lines of the vehicle, protect the hood section, and save gas over the plastic shield which increases drag on the vehicle. Hope this helps. J
