Advertised on this site is "G-Force Chip" which claims increase of up to 60HP and up to 7percent mpg.
Anyone tried it? Any opinions? Is it for real?

The real question is not, "Why wouldn't it work?
    but rather, "Why would it?"

The ad copy for about 300 different makes and models are exactly the
same. Does that sound like it's customized to your car?

Save your money. Invest in something concrete.
I understand that you can still buy the Brooklyn Bridge, for only half price.

Obviously a scam. A full fledged custom dyno tune might get you 5 to 10 hp in a Prius and most likely no fuel economy increase. A chip will never match a good dyno tune.

No, but i hear if you put on a different carburetor, you can get 200mpg... The Government stole the plans and killed the guy who invented it though. EXCEPT for the one I have!

Do you think that if Toyota could add 70 hp, increase mileage, and do it for 79.99$ that they would have done it when they were building your car?

It wasn't the government it was the oil companies that stole the plans and all the 200 mpg carburetors except for yours and mine.

I honestly doubt it. This is the same company that has decided to stop adding tiny engraved dots on various valve timing components which make setting the timing chain easy as can be. Line the marks up, install tensioner. Done. We've discovered in doing multiple replacements of VVTI gears they have decided to stop engraving those timing marks. Their reason you ask? Because they can and it's cheaper to manufacture.

At least the box I made that improves your MPG actually works and has been proven to work if you actually use it correctly.

That's funny; Akihiko Otsuka said the same thing. Though his box is rather more streamlined and has a much better Cd than this scammy one. ;) What's yours like?

Hah! It won't make it faster, but think of all the polygons you could draw with a 201V power supply.

unless the IC is a resistor pack which requires no power. The Performance "Chips" I've seen were just a resistor.

Hi ~ ya, I had one installed today at a performance shop. I have to wait 100 miles before it kicks in totally. GForce staff were extremely helpful actually telling me over phone what colour wires to connect for my model of car.

The idle hasn't changesd. there seems to be a lot more HP, but since I am in Canada and it just snowed..LOL...I can't push it on the streets. But I do notice that less gas pedal is needed...who knows eh? I will report back after a month or so.
I have the following on my 2009 Focus SEL:

    E3 plugs - +2
K&N air filter (not cold air yet)- +2
    Turbonator - + 2
    use 94 octane gas - +1

I figure my HP has gone to about 150 from 143 with this stuff, but I will see with GForce chip.

we will see if this does anything. if not, it was only $69 for some fun anyway...

Don't underestimate the importance of Hyper-threading. You can thread your way through traffic 4 times as fast with a Hyper-threading quad core.

3300 ohm resistor in series with your Intake Temperature Sensor IAT does the same thing, fools your computer into thinking that the intake air temerature is higher, giving you better mixture and timing. Cost is 5 for $1.00 .
