The moldings were part of my purchase negotiations. The dealer installed them, so I assume that means OEM. I was a little nervous about how they would look, but I like them!

Love the silver with 17 inchs :) should have bought this one instead of too popular white!

Hmm...I was just expecting straight generic ones. I just said I wanted moldings. Is what I got a new standard or an alternate choice? Anyone know?

After a decade of taking Prius photos, it has become quite a challenge finding new scenic locations. Sometimes you still get lucky though...

The technician at the dealership said it is an aftermarket used by Southeast Toyota. He said different regions use different parts.

    Interesting, eh?

That's was a really exciting moment driving up north and suddenly recognizing the location from all those years ago. Needless to say, the trip came to an abrupt stop for some quick photos. I even lucked out again with the clouds. Sweet!

See this webpage for the 2010 photos and this one for 2001.

Ha, gotta hand it to John! I really enjoy your website, great work. Also, every now and again when I'm at Star Bucks, I'll bring my laptop along and read your Prius "logs". I call them the Prius "journal". I've read possibly 190+ pages already. It's really neat to see all the changes with the Prius and the way other people acted. I miss the hybrid wave though. It seems as if no one really knows or cares anymore. Eh, maybe it's a blessing and a curse.

How about these newest 2010 additions to the album, compared to 2001...

Same field. Same hill. Same beautiful location... though quite different when the season changes, 9 years go by, and you snap the photo about 100 feet further down the road.

    Same with these too...

I know this isn't a 2010, but I couldn't resist to show John my pictures I took of my Classic Silver Metallic 2007 with package 5. :)

Had my new 2010 for two weeks now, and just got the windows tinted and applied several coats of Zaino polish (thanks to tips from PriusChat members!). A lot of work, but it's worth it!

Have had mine for a few weeks now, and just got it back from the car audio store in OC. Everything came out really nice. List below of what I had put in. The install is very clean, and the sub can be taken out easily, which is nice if I need the room. The Amp is installed under the rear floor board. The sound is great, lots of power :) - and it's my first time using a Bluetooth head unit... it works very well with my HTC Evo ... Sound is very clear around town and on the freeway ..
I might upgrade to the Kenwood DNX9960 down the road, but just don't need Nav right now.
