I can understand the delay today, Doug. You're working on a partial staff these days.

Updated in #23 and attached here.

Thanks Tony for updating it every day.

In case anyone wants to see it without the puzzle piece lines, just go to Toyota Prius Projects

unfortunately, it still has not been updated for today yet.

Yeah, but what fun would it have been to tell you that days ago?! :D

It's actually still not updated so w/o you doing it, it seems we'd be waiting for some time...

Oh, and sometime in December we're in for another puzzle teaser, so those who don't like getting puzzle teased, don't look early in December for another image of the new car...

    Thanks Doug.

Interesting.. so they've compressed AM/FM/CD/USB/AUX/BT to two buttons - radio and media.

Now in other cars, "Media" usually means USB/iPod and they have a "Disc" to cover optical discs (CD or DVD). Now.. does this mean Toyota isn't including an optical drive or have they decided that everything that isn't AM/FM can be a "media" option?

If it uses same power train as current Prius, it would be disappointing.

Without a question this 7 seater would be heavier by 200 pounds, and then with 7-passengers and their stuff, it would be a drag.

I think best match for this is, Camry Hybrid power train, and close to Camry mileage numbers.

Also, length wise, it it better to have similar to Camry 189", can carve the space up like once Mazda MPV, the smallest most space efficient usable VAN (unlike Mazda5).

1.8 liter ICE has a lot of potential. Remember Gen2 Iconic Prius had 1.5 liter and it only weighted about 150 less than the Gen3. The 1.8 liter ICE was highly tuned for efficiency in Gen3. If it were tuned for more power with more powerful MG2 plus Lithium pack to supply it, it should be suitable for 7 seater bigger Prius.

But remember.. this is North America. What are the chances that they'll allow video-out from an iPod?

they have the same rules when it comes to navi lockout in Europe, so right now it works the same in Europe and USA.
