OK guys. I scoured the internet and I found this spy shot. It fills in the missing pieces of the puzzle. What I did was overlay the puzzle to show how it all fits together.

It looks really authentic to me - no Photoshop work here. I'm telling you, I think this is the real deal.

ummm so can you actually make out any of the icons? the lower right looks like a gauge so guessing some sort of charge thingy.

epi is familiar. isnt that a travel site? an obvious email link. wonder if that is our email or only Toyota notification for recalls so the general public would not have to be notified? (JK!!) curious as to what of this will be enabled when the car is moving. i am guessing probably nothing but the lower right icon

Yes, unfortunantly (for me, I'm a PC). The lower left is the Safari icon and the lower right is the Preferences icon (Mac OS 10.5 and higher).

Krap, I have to work on Macs every day. Guess I shouldn't complain, it keeps me employed. But this is a serious problem for someone that refuses to even download QuickTime player to any of the 4 PC's in the house.
No, Microsoft is not perfect and please don't argue with me about which is better, both have their pluses and minuses. But because I make a living working on both, in a public school environment, I do have a personal preference.

    OK.......:focus:

I don't know Tony. The buttons look blurry yet the icons are sharp.

    LOL...good one.

Just think--this'll make texting while driving SO much easier! Hey, I bet there'll be a mini-keyboard on the steering wheel. :p

Yes, that was a joke. I can say that there was no Photoshop work because I used a different graphics program. :p

(just as a heads up, the next time I say, "I think this is the real deal" you should be really and honestly suspicious)

Tony, Tony, Tony...... and I was thinkin I'd never be able to buy another 'Toyotapple'.

I do like Psych Prof's idea of the keyboard in the steering wheel. Not that I'd know how to use it for texting. In fact I was shopping new carriers Friday and the guy at TMobile ask what features I wanted, what did I want to do with my new phone. I told him "talk on it" and there was total silence on the other end. :D

hehehee... well, don't feel bad. I'm still trying to figure out how to reset the clock on my car (I got to the 12 hr. / 24. hr. screen, but can't see how to *change* the hour) at the end of Daylight Saving Time. Oh well, I suppose I need to hand over my Technophile card now (or maybe actually get out my owner's manual)...

I don't understand why the center of the dash is shaped like puzzle pieces. Is this the new direction that Toyota design is headed in ?

GraphicConverter? For $40 on the Mac, it's a bargain compared to photoshop and does everything I need to do (from basics like red-eye reduction, rotate & crop up to creating claymations & unsharp masks). But it's not available on the PC, sorry old-school people.

But whatever you use, thanks Tony, for putting this puzzle together for us. Looks like the basic picture you used (minus the graphics on the screen) has the buttons in a little different layout than what the Prius Team has shown us so far, so apparently some tweaks were done since the leaked pictures were available (or did you grab a photo from another car?)

So far, I'm liking what I see.

if you check spyshot from first page (or two), you will see that HVAC controls are not like in Prius... there is big center dial for temp control for instance, looks goodies.

Tony, you forgot the flux capacitor in the lower center. Without it, its... just not complete.
