Agreed! It is tough over there where the rules keep changing and logic is ignored. I give you tons of credit for staying the course, and keeping us evil doers at bay!

First you tell me to leave the country (in the tar sands thread, I think it was) and now you want me back? Make up your mind.

My "knowledge" of harems comes from reading the Arabian Nights. But I don't remember seeing anything there about how women are "recruited" for the harem. I suspect that some of them are purchased, and some given to the Caliph as gifts. I also suspect that if you offered to give or sell a woman to the caliph, and it turned out you had "sampled" the merchandise, you might find yourself unable to "sample" any more merchandise in the future.

It's a world I plan on staying far away from. Were I to become Emperor of the World, I'd still only want one wife. I'm firmly of the belief that one is the best number. (Though I do not have anything to say against people who choose group marriage.)
