Wow! I'm so sorry! I'd be fuming!

And I don't mean to sound like an opportunistic jerk but would you be willing to sell your rims? :)

Sorry but I'll be using 3 of the wheels on my new Prius. I had to order a replacement for the 4th though.

There were no passengers - just me and the other driver. The F350 driver wasn't injured. I fractured my knee (tibial plateau) and cannot walk or drive for 3 months. I am happy to still be here to replace my Prius, which was totaled of course.

Wow - those are some amazing pictures Yadax3. Thank you for the sharing. I'm glad your injuries were limited to your knee. How fast were you going during the crash? How banged up did you get? Would you say the Prius did a good job on keeping you safe? How long till you get another?

The F350 was doing about 45-50 mph and I was barely moving. The paramedic was actually surprised when I told him I couldn't move my leg as he quickly pointed out my knee bag had deployed. Given it is my right leg, I'm guessing my knee must have hit the center console. All-in-all, I feel like the Prius protected me pretty well or I wouldn't be buying another one. I suppose I could be a bit safer in some larger vehicles but I don't want to trade off other features like mpg and green technology.

My replacement Prius should be here by the end of the month but I won't be driving it until the end of the year. Meanwhile, my husband plans to have the Invisibra, window tint, and 17" wheels/tires installed after which he'll reinstall my illuminated sills and fog lights. After that I won't be able to tell the difference except for the leather color, which I decided to change. Oh, and the new car will have Safety Connect, which wasn't available yet when I purchased my first Gen III last summer. Call it superstition or whatever, but somehow I feel better knowing it won't be exactly the same car.

glad you weren't seriously injured. Looks like the Prius did its job. The A-pillar nary has a kink in it and it looks like the front doors can be opened.

Then the F350 should have rear ended you, not the other way around

I'm glad to hear you are quite fine.
Sorry, but I don't understand the case. Shouldn't be an opposite? You have broken front part, so it means you hit something in the front of you. How F350 hit you?

For the other posters - um, looks like the F350 blew through a stop sign or something and hit her Prius - FROM THE FRONT - while she was waiting her turn.

For yadax  glad you are okay. Your knee will heal.

The damage looks (off-centered) head on.

It looks like the Prius was t-boned by the Ford in the driver front fender, given how everything seems to have shifted to the right. If I had to guess, I'd say the Prius just got a green light, started through the intersection and the Ford came through from the left, trying to make a left hand turn into the Prius' lane?
