Yea CT300h would be interesting. CT400h is just too much power for a compact car.

If the Lithium version of CT200h gets 50 MPG, the demand will be very high.

    Awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Hopefully, by boosting battery capacity, they will be able to maintain the mpg in the 40s, while also allowing the driver three or four quick accelerations during their daily drive. Maybe the sport models will come with an electric cord for "topping off" the battery.

Funny... this might actually be *the* sport hybrid and not the CR-Z.

No doubt, but at the same time, I'm hoping Toyota makes a sport hybrid with a Toyota emblem, too. A la FT-86 or Celica.

Latest rumour has it that the FT-86 might be badged as a Scion and priced in the $25k range instead of the $20k range...

No idea... but then again, they can get more profits via accessories on a Scion than on a Toyota. So do you know if they're still bringing a sub-$20k RWD car or have they given up on that concept?

From my understanding they are working on another RWD vehicle that would be the real sub 20k vehicle. You know when the FT-86 concept debuted I knew there was no way it could be under 30k. The yen stinks and its not a volume vehicle with a shared platform.

I'm hearing solid 25k+ for this new FT-86 and that is WAY out of Scion's price range.

ok.. so now there's gonna be a new vehicle that's going to do what the FT-86 was designed to do.... lol.. gj.

Yeah it looked too nice to be a sub $20k car.. esp. given their criteria (< 1,000kg, 120hp and RWD)

F-Sport models aren't performance models. They're just design models.

F-sport parts are not just for show, they mainly are to tighten handling. The CT for instance would get upgraded sway bars and lowering springs. The IS/GS also get BBK, INtake, short shifter, exhaust.

It depends really, nothing uniform about F-sport thus far.

Fair enough... I must've remembered the kits and not the springs lol.

My guess is that it is do to customer demographics. Scion is meant to appeal to younger buyers. They are more likely to buy a sporty coupe. On the other hand, most Toyota customers are looking for family vehicles with 4 doors.
