Well if I were a jacker in Texas I would have to change my technique. Walk up to your car, pop a cap in your left ear through the window. Reach in unlock the door and pull your lifeless body out onto the pavement. Get in and drive off. A bit messy and fussy to be sure but I needed a car. :car:

Really the chances of this happening are slight. Very few people are ever carjacked, so it's not worth worrying about. Almost. FWIW, I actually replaced all the windows in my car with plexi and beefed up the locks. I have an extra button on the fob. if somebody tries something like this all the doors lock and it's impossible to get out. The car is then gassed and likely to render any occupant unable to move competently within 5 seconds of the first breath, dead inside of 2 minutes. One time I hit the button by mistake on the fob while I was driving on the highway and I had to hold my breath as I hit the brakes, stopped it just in time to run out. My mistress in the other seat had no idea what was happening and, I'm afraid, did not make it. The moral of the story here is don't cheat on your wife because somebody may end up dying.

If you are fortunte enough to live in a jurisdiction that has the Castle Doctrine, like when I lived in Utah, there is no jail, no pic in paper as it is deemed "justified"

I suppose in the scenario you described, the jacker drives off in your Prius and you have to file a police report. It's just a car

What I would worry about though is that your registration and insurance papers are in the car too. Since criminals have Rights in many, many areas, such as all of Canada, the criminal now very conveniently has your home address.

You can expect at the very least a robbery in the near future. Probably a home invasion robbery, as you will most likely have forgotten to erase all the codes from your garage door opener

Do not resist. Even if they rape your wife and daughter. Just give them anything they want, including signed blank checks and the PIN to your atm card. Don't forget to file a police report afterwards

That problem is also fairly simple to solve. PM me for details
