I finally was able to make the Droid work with the USB interface. Here's what you have to do: 1) Install AnyCut from the Market 2) Long press any of the Home Screens and Add a Shortcut 3) Choose AnyCut 4) Select Activity 5) Scroll down to SD Card 6) Open the Shortcut 7) Select Enable USB mass storage 8) Connect the Droid to USB I found this solution on AndroidForums for the G1 and it works for the Droid. PM me if you have comments
You made that awfully hard. I just plugged in my Droid, it popped up a window asking if I wanted to mount my SD card, I pressed "yes" and done! No special app necessary. Note this is with Android 2.2 firmware, maybe things have progressed since this post.
For my Samsung Epic, whenever i plug in my phone, it gives me the option of "mass storage"...and if i select it, then USB tab pops up on the NAVI screen. HOWEVER, my Prius canNOT find any music on my Epic! I have DOUBLETWIST...and music is stored in the music folder...still no go. I am still running Android 2.1...Samsung is taking forever to update it! How did you guys get the Prius to play via USB from your Android phone??
