12 volt batteries problems

You should have many batteries that will do the job. I have used a small Honda battery ( 55AH ) wet cell, a 7 AH sealed Gel. Also just rejuvinated my 12V by adding a bit of H2O ( 1/2 oz ) plus giving it a three day trickle charge. The SOC seems equivalent to a new battery. ONE thing, you will probably have to file down the positive post to accomodate the Japanese pos cable. So far I have found no hardware to make this job easier. Good Luck. :cheer2:

 

Be sure it's really a bad 12 volt battery, mine was going crazy , systems shut down like AC, brakes etc,
It turned out to be a bad 12 volt water pump that pulled the 12 volt low. They say it's normal for the system to shut down all 12 volt items.

The display screen kept saying , abnormal brake and other worthless info.

I out a new battery in myslf, then found it was the pump after 2 dealer visits.

DO IT YOURSELF, they don't have a clue.

Try to measure the battery voltage with a multimeter or the following method

with some load (headlights on, rear defrost on) and report back. Good luck!
