I just replaced the H11 fog lights with 68 LED replacements. Wow, really bright and very white. I will try to take a pic tonight and post. Total cost was $7.99 shipped for a pair.

Here are a few pics of the H11 LED replacements installed. Very hard to take a photo, much too bright.

That's a lot of LED's in one light assembly. Cool. Yea a few night time shots showing how well they light up the road :)

THANKS for your post and purchase details. I just ordered the 5 & 9 LED for parking lights (if the 9 is too tight, I'll use the 5 LED). And the 68 LED fog light LED. 2 each for the bulbs, about $18 total for the entire order. Coming from Hong Kong, seller does not combine multi-order shipping or the $$ would be 1/2.

I use my parking lights for DRLs all the time and upgraded halogen bulbs, to no avail, so hope these upgrades will improve - your pics look great!

As DRL I would think they would be much more noticeable than the stock or upgraded halogens. I went to work this morning in the dark. They sure are bright and white. However, I don't think they light up the road much. The stock LED headlights throw off so much light that the fog lights don't add much. I will try to take some photos with them on and off.

BTW, I changed out the stock front dome lights to a 7 led type in this photo. The rear light is being replaced with a 9 LED version.

I'm still trying to take some decent night photos but here is a head on shot during the day as running lights taken with my phone.

Are they really noticeable as DRL's in the daylight out a few car lengths ahead? Photo's are always a bugger to see the real picture of what going on.

This photo was taken this morning in a garage. LED fogs are pretty bright compared to the headlights. I'm satisfied with the results.

With 68 individual LEDs in each I guess the real question for me is how long they last? They are pretty cheap and I have them on all the time now, but I bought a spare set just in case.

Depends on how warm they run. Heat will eventually kill any electronics. LED's will die the same way if cooked to death. If they last one season, the price is right. As the years move along, technology will advance and better lamps will become available. The LED lamps you have are a far cry better than what was available even a year ago.

I sit hear drooling over all the cool stuff you guys do with your Gen 3's while I have to wait until the wife pays off a couple more of our cars before I can trade my Ion in for a Gen 3 :p Soon...

Keep us updated. I'm curious to see how hot they run. The stock bulbs are very hot (and the Gen 2 Prius had some issues with cracking foglight lens due to heat).

    Hummmmmm.....

well I installed my PIAA 19615 HB3-9005 for "low beam" on the GenIII behind the lens.
My impression is yet undetermined..... Not sure its any brighter at all on the open road... up close against white objects I believe its brighter... "maybe in Kelvin if nothing else".....
Without running one stock on one side and the PIAA's on the other I'm not sure.

    Still undetermined.....

Tomorrow I'm supposed to get my high beams... hopefully those will be easier to tell.

That's interesting. The HB3 is the high beam on the Prius V, or did I order the wrong bulbs for mine?

You got the right size--HB3 is high beam on all 2010 Prius.

You guys are right.... I edited this shortly after I posted it.. seems the edit didn't go through....
Amazon initially confused me.... they said the HB3 was what I got in the mail and I really got the H11... They also said both pairs would come in one shipment.. but they are coming in two... oh well...

I installed the H11 "low beam" and other than a little brighter Kelvin, haven't noticed a difference... if someone would have slipped the bulbs in my car without my knowing it, I would never know the difference.

I certainly hope the high beams "HB3" will be better.

I only have 26K on my Car and the glass tubes on my H11 bulbs both were already a tad smoky as visualized with a bright light against them.

Stream, asking for a bit of guidance. My 68 LED fog lamps came in today - ordered from Hong Kong, delivery was 7 days....

Went out to install... after some cuss words and scraped knuckles, thought I'd ask for advice. I have the lower front access panel off and thought the original fog light socket would be simple to twist and remove - no. Tried all variations of counterclockwise as the manual says. Just can't get the socket out or the connector off. I must admit I'm working blind - don't want to jack up the front end so I can get my face in there.

If you recall, does it twist out? Any tips (perhaps for us all that may make the swap).
