Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the gauge cluster? Or does anyone know how its lit up? I'm kinda bored with the green lighting and I've done a bunch of LED swaps on various vehicles so if the cluster uses LEDs, it should be an easy swap after I figure out the differences in resistance from the new LEDs to keep then at the same brightness. Would be pretty cool to change it up to white or red.

Are they all like that? I'll probably be taking apart my dash and navi since the buttons on the console are probably PLCC2 and the nav ones are 0603. I guess I may have to leave the HSI and speedo green haha

Hm I wonder if we could use a filter to change the color on the VFD?

Not only that, the NAV units are fluorescent back-lit, not LED. No love there either. The buttons could be changed, but are likely surface mount LED.

Yeah I figured they would be. Surface mount leds are no problem as I've done plenty of those type of swaps before. I wasn't planning on doing the ccfl tubes behind the lcd screen since I wouldn't want a tint there.

^^ Yeah I was looking around on that site as well. I'm going pull apart the nav unit and console controls to confirm what LEDs I need to order and then figure out which resistors I'll need to change in order for the brightness to stay the same.
