I went to Wooddash.com and found some different wood grain kits for the 2010 plastic dash. I am thinking about trying it. I wanted to know if any of you good people have done this and have pictures? See you can polish a turd. Kidding I have only 20 or 30 complaints.

Good advice, also read carefully and gain an understanding about which are basically flat stick on labels and which are molded pieces. Some times the terms used are 2D and 3D.

Since no one here seems to have posted this yet, then I may as well save the rest of the hassle... Here is their link, and a picture of their product on a 2010 Prius:

I would like to have something other than the stock sea of gray, but agree that many of the kits get too blingy.

You know, that petty much sums up my thoughts on this one! This particular example just looks too busy, but that explains why I have pieces left over from my install! I also went with a much less red looking wood, and it blends in!

Maybe a lighter wood and not all over the place. Just the main dash - no window switches or cup holder cover or below. More simple.

Go to the Accessories forum...look at the light Bamboo installation...looks very good...In a car like this a high tech approach would be more honest and in keeping with the design..try carbon fiber or aluminum.

My wife's Acura TL with gray interior has a limited amount of Carbon Fiber looking trim (she calls it gray plaid:D) from the factory. It is unobtrusive and looks good. If I find the right molded (3d) CF kit for my Prius, I will probably get it.
