Just saying hello!

I bought my wife a 2010 today, I have a lot of reading here to get me caught up.

 

I spent 12 years in law enforcement, I am now working on getting my license to be a private investigator.

Can't say for sure, but I know she will be lurking here.

 

It does have a lot of features and tricks to learn about it. I wish that the manual did not show all the details for all the stuff I did not get with my car, makes me wonder if I should have bought her a better equipped one.

I got her the level II model with he only upgrade floor mats. But that is what she wanted.

 

It could make a good car for that, most guys here use very common cars that blend in well. Mid size SUV's seemed to be the most common, room to move around in and carry equipment, plus they are very common.

The EV mode does sound useful moving around in parking lots without much noise being made.

So far she loves it, I am really enjoying driving as well. It is a big difference from my DD, a 2008 Corvette, but the Prius is a really fun car to drive.

 

I met a man at my grandmother's funeral that had a problem with police officers, I thought he was funny but he kind of mad my brother mad. He was on the 'other side' of the family tree I guess. My grandfather on my dad side, my dad, my brother and I, and one of my cousins were LEO at some time.

Anyway, he told my brother and me that police officers should all drive Prius cars as duty cars. He said that way it would save the taxpayers money on fuel costs and keep them from driving too fast or chasing anyone.

I gave a little laugh and told him I did not think I would like that. He said are they too slow for me and I said no, too fast, I was a foot patrol officer.
