While on a road trip this last weekend, I noticed that the iPOD was worrking intermittently. It worked the first time when we started the stip, and when I plugged it in again after I had stopped the car (for a coffee/gas break), it would not work. This seemed to recur again and again. A short break makes it not to work whereas a longer break (overnight break) makes it work. Any ideas what this could be? Does the 3-yr warranty cover this?

My iPod has been working perfectly until yesterday. It quit playing while I was driving the car. After I stopped and was out of the car for awhile, it worked again. Today it stopped and I had to unplug and replug several times until it finally worked. Is this what you are experiencing too? Did you find a solution?:(

I had the same problem until I started using a different procedure in starting the car. I found that if I just initially activate the accessory mode (pushing the start button without depressing the brake) and then switching the USB input it loads the music every time. Then I simply depress the brake and push the Start button again. There are some other work arounds, but they require even more work.
