All done with the main parts. All seats, headrests, and the center console cover.

Still need to do the rear bolsters and the doors. I will post some pics tomorrow if I get a chance, it was too dark tonight to take any decent ones. Although, it probably looks just like the others. I won't bore with the details so far, becuase it has been covered extensively here. Just some other things not mentioned that I noticed:
    1. Probably the worst part was figuring out the first front seat that i did. Took a while to figure out where the bracket that holds the airbag cloth straps was located. I the pic in the manual( (I forgot what they called it), didn't really show me anything. I had not yet pulled the back of the cover far enough up and looked around the foam to see it. Maybe I just had a brain fart? Once I figured out that and the Bright green bands that run down either side, the back section of the front seats was relatively easy.

    2. I got both of the small covers on the sides off without breaking the clips in the blind hole. Managed to get all but one back on without breaking them. Knowing that screw is there is the key. Had to really take my time on this. Was a lot easier on the second seat.

    3. Still having trouble getting the plastic trim pieces around the back seat lock plungers to stay in place, they just won's stay snapped in.

Took me a minute to figure out how to get the console cover on. Initially I wanted to take the black bottom piece off of the fabric cover and put the new one on. I figured out quickly that would not work, it is meant to be put OVER the fabric to act as a second cover. The only problem is that the two metal clips on it won't allow it to snap in place (at least not as far as i could tell). I ended up bending one of them up so that I could put the cover on and then bending it back down into place. I'm sure it's not the right way, but it worked. It' a little tight because it's slightly longer than the stock one, but it worked. Ideally I could just cover the stock cover with leather, but I like this as well.

So far I have about 16 hours in it. I am very happy with the quality of the leather/vinyl. I think the key is to take your time, have the right tools, and oh yeah.. take your time.

It's a lot of work, but I think you're really going to enjoy the finished product. I had leather seats installed in mine, and it makes the whole cabin seem more luxurious.

The door handles will give you more work. I had the stitched Prius Hood leather so I cut it up and installed it. I did not have to go through "molding" around the corners.

Hey, Seawolf, was it you that posted the "how to make the Prius Hood leather covers permanent" post recently? If so, you might want to post the link for this guy's install (I couldn't find it readily).

2nd- AND- I saw a posting somewhere on where to buy (and model # ) of replacement (damn) black clips... Napa? Any ideas?

It has been awhile so I don't remember exact tools.

Use the PDF Boo provided and it should have all the info you'll need to the seat covers. You'll also need hog rings, hog ring pliers, a pair of gloves.

    A. loupitou06

Here's loupitou06's fantastic how-to-guide for the armrests (if you haven't seen it already):

Note that if you don't want to take the door panels off like loupitou06 did, you might be able to tuck the armrest leather into the slits with a blade/putty knife. That's what CharlesJ did when he put ultra suede on his armrests, and it looks fine -- really can't tell the difference:

    HEY-

For some reason I neve thought to check for these parts..... I never received the 2 extra pieces that go on the rear seat to the extreme left and right.. as well as the vinyl that covers the door armrests :( I contacted them, and they insist they were hipped... but they were not... and Paypal basically told me too bad.. does anyone have any extras they dont plan on using? or maybe a place to buy raw leather (or vinyl) that matches the bisque color?

I might buy the prius hoods covers for the doors, but really want the ones for the seat....
