For starters, my wife and I have started a green consulting firm here in SoFL and we do not feel like continuing on in our traditional auto. We would've liked to go with a PEV, but alas, they're just not there yet. So, we went for the best eco-car available today. Let me break it down here... 2010 Prius V Winter Grey Metallic Misty Grey We requested the Michelin's Nav and... well, that's about it. It seems like a great car and we will be very very pleased with what we are driving for. We will pick her up tomorrow just as soon as our daughter finishes school. The numbers are very simple. $31,000 OTD I will post pics just as soon as we get her. aaron
Yeah, an '07 AWD BMW X3 and a '99 CR-V. Both of them are going. I just put the bimmer up on autotrader and the honda will go up as soon as I repair a dent in the rear bumper. We are only using one car these days and our bicycles. Prius...it just makes sense. (for now) aaron
Oh, and one more thing. This forum seems more tame compared to my old forums. Thanks for the welcomes and it is nice to be here. aaron
Welcome and congrats!! I have the exact same color combo...love it! Well, grey outside is OK, but the misty grey inside is terrific! Your price looks good too.
The Gen III PKG V is a great car for the money!! This car is fun to drive, great gas mileage 50mpg and it gets it. a lot of PKG V owners here, they like their cars. Check this post after you get yours http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii-2010-prius-main-forum/77753-you-happy-your-pkg-v.html
I have the Winter Gray and love the color. It was my first color choice and I had to go to a dealer 100 miles away to find this color during C4C last year. Yes, it is a darker color and will show dirt a little more so than lighter colors. But, when you wash it and especially after a wax job, it certainly looks mighty fine. Congrats on your purchase and your color selection !!
I like Michelin tires myself so I was a little skeptical when my PriusV showed up with Toyo Proxis A20 tires. I have 25K miles on them now and they have been outstanding. So if you get the Toyos or Bridgestones I would suggest giving them a try.
I love this car! It is the ultimate city car. I just get in and go, as opposed to my X3 which feels of a chore for city driving. Also, we requested the Michelin's and that's what came on the car, so we are very pleased. Thank you everyone for the warm welcome, and I look forward to more happiness with my Prius. aaron
