I am getting terrible MPG! or: Am I getting terrible MPG? I have new tires, winter driving and 5-8 mile suburban driving only produces 45mpg. In reconsidering, the car is still getting twice the mileage of any other non hybrid sedan. Most cars are averaging 18-22 mpg in city on short trip suburban driving. And my trip mpg is still 55-60. So, I'll wait for summer, put a bit more air in the tires and realize how really lucky I am. It's all perspective.:cheer2:

Only a Prius owner would complain about 45 mpg.

And I made the 35-40 MPG club. With multiple daily very short trips.

Now that I have a G3, I can no longer get below 40 Mpg, no matter how hard I try.

I have never gotten over about 48MPG in the Prius. I think 45MPG is pretty good.

You could always work it out in Imperial gallons if it makes you feel better.
