Well, I've owned a Camry Hybrid and a Fusion Hybrid, and now I am looking at the Prius again. I think the worst part is dealing with my local Toyota dealership. I like the Prius. I test drove one the other day. I just wish the displays were more colorful, like the Ford. I will post some pix if I take the plunge this weekend.
can you give your opinions of camry vs fusion? we have camry hybrid and are thinking of test driving the fusion for a trade in. thanks!
I enjoyed the Ford more than the Camry. The Camry has a nicer ride, but the Ford handles better and offers more features for the money. Both were loaded at about $32,000. The Ford included Blind-spot warning and rear sonar parking assist in addition to the rear-camera. I thought that the Ford nav (2010) was more informative and easier to use than the unit in the Toyota (2007). I had an early Fusion Hybrid, but it was assembled well and was trouble-free. The dash in the Fusion is colorful, highly legible, and informative regarding economy. I also got better mileage in the Ford. The shifts from gas to electric power were pretty seemless and quiet. I did notice in the 2010 Prius that it had improved in that regard too. I noticed that I joined this forum in 2005, so I have been a Prius fan for quite a while. I hope you like the Ford. Let me know what you think.
