I know everyone who has changed their wheels knows this, but there are alloys under the hubcabs; and I like them. They were just the right price.

No, but I'm new to Prius (5 weeks) and each tank gets better than the last. I'm probably not a good barometer.

I dont know much about offsets and stuff but I was looking at getting some 19x8 & 19x8.5 with +35 offset. Will I have any problem with rubbing on stock suspension?

I have had my Prius for about eight months and just removed the plastic hubcaps about a month ago. I have not seen any decrease in mpg.

Of course, with the warmer weather, my mpg has been increasing and may be masking any possible decrease. But, I have not seen anything yet that would make me want to put the hubcaps back on. I think the car looks so much better without the hubcaps.

how would rims like these affect the mpg? or other vip-styled full face rims? would it affect the mpg in a positive manner? since it would be similar to the wheel caps?

    Hey bino,

Are those yellow tints on your fog lights? If so, are they Lamin-X, and did they change the output color at night to a more greenish yellow like this? http://i50.tinypic.com/2gtc876.jpg

    Thanks.

The VIP-style rims are pretty heavy so I'd expect that you'd sustain a MPG and acceleration hit. Turnerdhr VIPed out his ride, you might want to ask him: PriusChat Forums - View Profile: turnerdhr
