I have seen references to caps for the center of the 15" alloy wheel. Can someone point me to what options are available if I want to take off the stock plastic wheel cover? Also, what are some good (and inexpensive) options for replacing the stock wheels with a compatible (in as many ways as possible) 15" alloy?

    Thanks.

There is a thread somewhere on here for using the 1.5" knockouts from the electrics department at the Home Depot. They are .88$ each, and you just have to bend the tangs out an 1/8" all around. They are coated with galvanized tin, so basically won't interact with the wheels. I put a set on, and the neighbors even love them. Once you are a couple feet from the car, you don't notice the 1 1/2" stamped into them. I bought an extra set and some primer and silver matellic paint, but haven't bothered since they blend right in already.

ya i did the electrical knockouts from lowes and they look great. i bought chrome spray paint and didnt even use it because like the previous poster said, they blend in perfect. I recommend them because they are under a dollar per one. if you want the toyota ones i think you have to order the center pieces from the older model prius at like 20$ a pop.

I ordered it from my Toyota dealer. If your dealer can't find the part, let me know and I'll get the 411 from my dealer, the ever-friendly One Toyota of Oakland.

    LOLGuy,

Rebound left off the "0" at the end. The correct part number for the textured cap is 42603-52110

Wow - Looks like I'm off to Home Depot.

Now we need a topic detailing the differences between Home Depot and Lowes  At .88, it's better than $16/ea !

Thanks to the posters, and those that braved to go where no one has gone before...
