No problem, your welcome. Luckily my brother bought it off me since it CAN fit (perfect fit) the Pirus Gen 2!

I also purchased a stealth coloured Prius III recently replacing my magnetic bronze prius II. I love the clour. However one thing I notice is that it seems quite hot inside when I drive around under the sun. It is autumn (Australia) here and I never felt so hot in my magnetic bronze prius II. I am wondering wether the colour has any effect absorbing more heat or the design of Prius III. Do you notice anything?

Nope because it is 35mm from end to toe.

    Because I bought these

    http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/501194t10-mini-light-tower-leds-xenon-white-175l-p-2192.html

And it doesn't fit. In the end my brother bought it off me because he felt sorry for me for all the LED bulbs lying around. I thought it fitted because I bought a pair from them before but after taking it out of the car it was much shorter but it was quite bright. Apparently they don't sell them anymore of those. I knew I should buy more than just a pair.

!!! I just saw the one I bought. It is a 9 SMD one

    http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/501194t10-mini-light-tower-leds-xenon-white-bulb-p-1545.html

This is the one I got and it just fit fine! I don't know why I kept thinking I got the 15 SMD one sorry.

You may have answered elsewhere but did you have someone else do the matte finish or was it DIY?

I'm assuming that's a vinyl wrap you got. Do you know what kind of material they used? 3M or Oracal or something else?

I was told it was 3M. Although I never got to see the packaging myself.

I was there at their work shop (very impressive, they've got a printer the size of my house) and you can choose from arrange of amazing colours.

The Rear window, two back passenger window and the small rear small window all went the maxium darkness. They call it limosine black.

The front by new law now can't have any tint at all but I put on a little bit anyway.

I did put on 30% above before and the police stopped my wife and had my wife stripped it off right infront of them (personally I think they did that purposely and just wanted to see my wife) but I didn't want to give up so I put a very slight tint in the front now.

No, I got it done here. Not sure if this is allowed but I have no association with this company besides I've got my car wraped here.

Vehicle graphics, vehicle wrapping, for vans, cars, trucks and colour change

I wanted the Chrome but it cost $3,200 ($4,800) and only lasts a year so I decided not to go for that.

They have two type of Matt but 3M. One is a more silky matt and one is a matt matt finish. I went for the matt matt finish. The silky matt apparently more durable but you get a bit of silky shine.

I've heard of cops pulling over people and making them strip the tint on the side of the road. It depends on the cop, but they can slash it or make you take it off. I have a friend in Chicago who got pulled over and had to take it off on the side of the road. It's a pain and not worth it.

I also like the vinyl wrap. So it costs $2,000-$3,000 ? how long does it last for ?

I'm guessing you're talking about the difference between a "matte" finish vinyl and a "satin" finish vinyl?

It depends on how long ago that was. Recently, a law was passed that allows 35% tint all around in Chicago (I'm not sure if it's for the entire state).

I was investigating this and was told 3-5 years depending on exposure to the elements and care/storage.

Thats the price in the UK. I am not sure how much in the USA but I am sure it is cheaper than that in the US.

As for how long, I have been told that it could last up to 3 years or longer. They arn't that sure yet themselves.

But the Chrome wrap takes two layers and it lasts only one year.

Well they both look dull to me. Just one has a more matt finish and the other is more of a satin finish. But I wouldn't say it looks like satin finish totally. Without the comprasion side by side you would think the other one is matt too.

In the UK law you can't tint the front at all. I think it should be that way. When I first tinted my fron windows I nearly got into an accident because I just couldn't see the car coming fron left or right at a round about. But I still did a little tint because well it just looks better and it does help against UV rays etc.

The quotes I have gotten for a matte black wrap are all around $2500 +/- 20% for materials costs so it's not much cheaper.
