I did some shopping in the Chicago area and the lowest I got was a package III with solar package, blizzard pearl upcharge, and mats for $25,300 including destination and $750 rebate. Not sure if I should bite or just wait. I don't NEED a new car, just NICE to have one.

I think you got a great price. It's the same price I got with the help of low quotes from DC area dealerships. From what I had read previously, the Chicago area dealers were not being as generous as the DC dealerships, so your current offer sounds great.

But still, after tax, it's a substantial purchase. If you aren't in a rush to buy a car, don't. The incentives run through June and could even run through the summer.

That's good to know the incentives will continue. I will have to wait. With gas prices on the rise, maybe I can get more for my 2008. Hopefully they will sell the Prius at the discounted price when they are in demand again.

The incentives are going on strong. My dealer is now giving out 2.9% 63-month financing. I'm not sure if the 63 month thing is from Toyota or a dealer added promotion, but my dealer in Baltimore mentions this as a May 2010 promotion.

They increased the rebate in IL to $1,000 or 2.9% for 60 months. I just need to decide on what color to get now.

i am in new mexico, trying to get a Prius III, here is the deal i found,

with solar package, nav, white pearl

    28500 out of door.(including 3% tax, 400 registration fee, 100 processing fee)

is this a bad deal? they seem to be high priced here. and dealers (two major ones here) would not take lower offer. should i just go to another state and purchase. i was in car accident and in a rental good until next friday. so need to act quick.

    can someone help me here?

$359/mo for Prius III, nothing down at all (no tax, title, registration, fees, etc). Taxes here are 5% of purchase price. A true sign/drive.

So far, the lowest lease quote I have is $345/month, 15k miles, $0 due at signing on a Prius IV. Tax is 7% here in NJ.

Waiting for some more IV quotes and some III quotes.

I'll just say this: plenty of people have beaten my price, but I'm still happy. I believe gas will hit 6.00/gallon in US within two years. I expect to drive this car for ten years. I may well make back the full purchase price in gas savings.
    Just my .02.
P.S.: took Mom for a ride today and SHE LOVED IT, too!

Prius IV w/ nav & solar roof in Blue / Dark Gray interior, with wheel locks and floor mats. Paid $29,550 (including all fees except tax and government fees). Did not get the $750 rebate, because I took a promotional APR.

I'm in San Francisco Bay Area. With the understanding that we all pay different out-the-door price for Prius depending where one live, my simple question is how much I should expect to pay for a Prius 2010 Model IV (4) with Navigation Package only. Nothing else. If possible, please post the out-the-door (everything included) price.

Also, what would be a good local dealer for best value in bay area?

    Thanks in advance.

One guy a while back claimed he got a IV with solar package and nav package for $27,100. Not clear if he was being serious or just trying to put the forum into a spin. Anyone else get a car like that for a price like that?

That might be including a rebate. In the midwest region it is $1,000 rebate. It could be possible. You would have to find an old one that has the old MSRP.

Interesting. I am on the east coast. They are offering 0% financing for 36 months in my area- near Philadelphia. They deny any rebate offers and pull out an official looking Toyota document to confirm that rebates are on cars OTHER than Prius. Are other east coast buyers hearing the same mantra?

$1000 rebate OR 1.9%/60 here in Chicagoland, FYI.

I got my Red II for 21537 tax + title, the only options were the floor mats and the rear cargo mat. Was a good experience I dealt with internet sale manager and it was smooth and pretty much hassle free.

Red IV w/ Solar Roof Package, (Premium?) Floor Mats, Alarm for $32,500 (including TT&L). Also, somehow received 0.0% financing for 60 months even though we were initially told we'd only get 0.0% financing for 36 months.
