I just wanted to know what the avg price + intallation for foglights. I have a trim III and would love to do it buy am curious to know around the price I may end up paying. Also, any suggetstions as far as brand or what to look for would be appreciated. Thank you!
I'm also interested as well. I have the II model, but I'd like to add in fog lights, not sure how easy it is to do it yourself though.
my guess off the cuff is $225-$250 for the fog lights bought+ installed at the dealership. just a guess.
Also...Just found a site that has universal projector foglight assemblies if anyone else wants to have a go: iJDMTOY Optimal D1S D1R, Garax D2S D2R D4S D4R, HID Conversion Kit They're halfway down the page.
You can also wait for these: http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii...se-those-who-want-oem-looking-fog-lights.html Once Danny finalizes the paperwork on them they'll be available.
$845 ?! wow. That's ridiculous. I figured the parts (~$125) plus labor additional $100-150, but that's crazy. I'd never pay that much.
I'd wait for danny's set up to come to the store...if it's cheaper and more convenient than hunting part for part, it'll still be cheaper to either install sit or have someone do it, with the Prius Chat kit
Just follow the DIY thread and get a set of OEM style Yaris fog light from eBay, about $50 with shipping, a set of OEM cover from parts.com, about $70 with shipping, that is all we need. For anyone who want HID just add $50 for fog and $50 for headlight; about $220, parts, plus 2 hours, labor, you will have both HID fog and headlight in your below V Prius.
I agree with this guy I spent under 150 bucks going this route with 5000k HID. The kit is basically OEM like. There's a oem switch and all, hard part was running the wires through the fire wall etc.... overall a very easy install. Less than 2 hour for sure.
there are so many yaris kits on ebay....with reports of ill-fitting switches, it makes me hesitant to pull the trigger without someone pointing out a specific auction, y'know?

Good found. But I still prefer $50 for the light set and $70 for the cover, total of $120 and not to mention I can turn on and off my fog light without low beams are on.
some states require the fog/driving lights work in conjunction with the headlight system. Only working with low beams, off with high-beam. It will take 2 relays with my non-LED headlight system- I'll go this route. That way I won't eve leave them on by accident.
