This car is a vehicle for self-expression. Perfect for a small business that WANTS to attract attention and enjoy great fuel efficiency... or anyone who loves beauty and uniqueness. Car is currently in Victoria, BC, Canada. 45,000 km. Basic package, no frills. Runs great, serviced at dealership. Scratch-n-ding on right side has been worked into design, not noticeable. $15,500 CAD (trading at par with USD)
Will that wash off? I just think you'll have an awfully tough time selling a base model, used, 2nd gen anywhere near that price even without the paint job....with it...good luck at $8000
What a hideous paint design. Good luck selling it. I'm sure you'll find a buyer but it may take a bit of time.
Doesnt help that the CAD has stayed strong while the USD has plummeted making it even again. I have many relatives doing cross-border shopping again You will probably have a better chance getting a CAD buyer since it is way too highly priced for the US market, especially with the bad economy around here.
So, what's the KBB (or Canadian equivalent) on an '07 base with 45k km? Remember to score the exterior LOW.
Hey all, no need to share your distaste of the paint job. Move on if you don't like it. Bump and good luck.
I am in complete agreement with you. There is a bunch of great information on this site and very worthwhile visiting. I appreciate being a member of the site. Obviously, a great amount of diversity with common ownership of a particular Toyota product. There is no reason for any of the members to cast aspersions or police the taste of members. I've seen it here on sales items when it comes to pricing. Unless the sale is fraudulent, no one needs to post on it unless you are considering buying it or comment on it, just because it's not to your style.
