This is great! I notice the shirt pocket looks like some of mine ... cheap pens!

The footer fasteners, did you have to remove the ones for the modules on each side or just loosen?

If you don't mind, perhaps post the the last two digits of the VIN? The reason is that car will probably go out for auction and within a couple of months, it may show up again. There is a fair chance the next owner might show up here ... Ok, maybe just PM the last two VIN numbers and we'll handle it 'discreetly.' <grins>

Sorry Bob, don't think I have anything here at work with the VIN on it. Yes, we did remove all of the lower bolts, at least from the bad cell to the other end, not the computer end, and that allowed us to slide all of the other cells about 5 mm so that we could extract just the bad cell. Removed the cell, slipped in the new one, and tightened the tubular retainers a bit, then re-installed all of the anchor bolts, then the connecting straps, re-connected all of the cabling, installed the top of the case, put the battery in the car, and down the road to trade it in it went. I wanted to keep it and see how well the fix worked, but the bad cell is/was an indication that the HV battery was going to have more problems, so ..... If my daughter-in-law will dig up the info, I'll use one of my cheap pens and PM it to you. BTW that was my son in the picture, he really has cheap pens. Keith

We've seen mixed results but with a vehicle with at this age, we're probably not looking at an isolated module. Good choice.
