I've heard rumors that some non US gen III's have a factory subwoofer. Can anyone confrim this? If so, Does anyone know how to get one and is it compatable with the US gen III JBL amp and wiring harness. Thanks
Although I cannot confirm it first hand, I have seen wiring diagrams & installation instructions which included such a thing. It shows it going into the spare tire well somewhere if I recall correctly.

Are you sure you guys want a sub? The car will rattle even more than usual. Aside from that, my JBL system's bass seems adequate.
Very interesting, but I have questions totally unrelated to the sub-woofer: 1) Where do you get the tool used to disassemble the various panels (shown on page 9)? 2) Does the European TIS have anything on Daytime Running Lights? (DRL's) Thanks.
