An interesting article that points out the similarities between today's Unintended Acceleration situation and previous accident fiascos involving cars (Audi's UA situation to name one.) Read more at the Washington Examiner: Theodore H. Frank: I am not afraid of my Toyota Prius | Washington Examiner
Well written article from someone that has seen this before. The ages of the people involved in these SUA incidences is interesting. Wonder why the media has not picked up on this fact?
Mr. Frank isn't going to be very popular with some people here. Trivializing 50 deaths in 10 years... when we're going to "bell the hybrid (and EVs)" because someone might die? Evil man.
Why I wonder, this at the end of the article: Theodore H. Frank (Home (Ted Frank)) is the founder and president of the Center for Class Action Fairness. He does not speak for General Motors.
Good question. Here is an example of his work: LegalNewsline | AGs oppose Honda class action settlement
I believe he mentions General Motors because at one time, according to the article, he defended them. He apparently wants his readers to realize he is no longer retained by G. M.
Damn. I am in the only age group that appears to be at risk for SUAs. I no longer feel safe. Ahh, I'm a Vulcan. We live to be over 200. Never mind.
